Overview

I designed three magazine spreads for Substream Magazine's interview with Canadian Indie band, Peach Pit. ​

Design Approaches

I utilized Photoshop, Procreate and InDesign during this project. I experimented with different line weight scribbles to enhance imagery. The text moves around the imagery and flows like a song. Peach Pit's music consists mostly of lead singer, Neil Smith's life stories. I utilized blue throughout the spreads because the lyrics are often melancholy, but are masked with a surf rock rhythm. The choice of black and white imagery was to allow the blue to glow.
